Thanks for visiting my Amazing People Project Fundraising Page.

My Amazing Event involves me walking to work !!!! On Sunday 2nd of December I will start at the Post Office at Oakdale and walk 50 kms to Liverpool TAFE. I estimate that it will take me approximately 17 hours. 

Why am I doing this ?  Am i crazy - probably. Seriously though, i want to be able to help the people who the five nominated charities support. People who live with breast cancer, have MS, suffer from Depression, don't have food to eat or children with rare diseases all live their lives out of their "comfort zone". They have no choice. My walk is going to challenge me both physically and mentally. It will definitely take me out of my "comfort zone". If this means i can raise awareness and some much needed funds for these fabulous charities, then Liverpool here i come.

I want to do something amazing - i want to make a difference !!!

The Amazing People Project is a campaign encouraging 250 people, to raise $250,000 over 250 days by doing something ‘amazing’ for themselves whilst doing something ‘amazing’ for others.  You can find out more by watching this video.

Our 5 chosen charities are the The Smile Foundation, The Blackdog Institute, The McGrath Foundation, MS Research, Australia and Ozharvest.  By raising $50,000 for each of these charities we will be making an amazing difference to many people in our community.
